Shelter in Place vs. Campus Lockdown (Secure in Place)

A Campus Lockdown (a.k.a Secure in Place) may be called if there is a violent or aggressive person on campus.

If you are asked to Secure in Place:

  • Lock and barricade doors
  • Move away from doors and windows
  • Close window shades, turn off lights, and stay low
